And just like that the 2025 National Shorthorn Show and Sale is over for another year.

Congratulations to all exhibitors and vendors for showcasing an exceptional line-up of bulls and females and a huge thankyou to our judge Mr Ivan Price who made the trip down from Queensland.
Thankyou to our committee for their tireless efforts throughout the year that culminated in a great event once again.

Most importantly thankyou to all the buyers who supported today’s sale, the overall results saw

77 of the 101 bulls sell to a top of $40,000 – Lot 76. Glengyron Ugo offered by the Tippett Family and purchased based by Futurity Shorthorns – with an overall average of $8636.

7 if the 19 females sold to a top of $16,000 – Lot 138. Ronelle Park FW Nandi V79 purchased by the Falls Family of Malton Shorthorns – and averaged $7929.
The 2 PTIC recips sold to a top of $7500 and averaged $5750.
The semen packages sold for $80/straw.

Buyers were represented from QLD, NSW, Tasmania, Western Australia and the USA.
